As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy, BCP are supporting a number of charities, dealing with poverty and homelessness this Christmas.

BCP in its 13th year supporting the Dublin Simon Community and its House of Cards Appeal for Christmas and Focus Ireland’s Sponsor a Star Appeal to provide food, shelter and permanent supported housing to those who need it most.

As part of the budget each year, BCP support community based charities such as, Coláiste Bríde and Ballyfermot Advanced Project, which provide a number of families with food and funds during the Christmas period. We also donated to the Merchants Quay, Saoirse Woman’s Refuge, St Vincent’s De Paul, Rosabel’s Hospice, Nasc (Direct Provision Support) and Turn2Me, Mental Health Support. BCP also donated internationally to Team Hope, Concern and UNICEF.

During the year, BCP focused on charities assisting those most impacted by the Covid-19 crisis; included Alone, Barnardo’s, ISPCC, Pieta House, Samaritans, Jack & Jill and Woman’s Aid. Other charities also supported include, Cancer Care West, Movemeber, Capuchin Day Centre and the LauraLynn Children’s Hospice.

As Covid-19 affected our endeavour to give of our time through volunteer days to local organisations, BCP instead increased our charity budget and included additional donations to Charites.

BCP would like to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Stay Safe.
